World Ex Ltd. ("World Ex", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at worldexpost.com and provides cross-border postal services from Canada to Armenia and Georgia. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information in connection with our services.

  • Recipient information — the recipient's name, address, and phone number so we can deliver your parcel.
  • Shipment details — parcel contents, declared value, weight, dimensions, and any special handling requests.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment providers; we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Identification documents — when required by customs or by destination country regulations.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your email and authentication credentials.
  • Communications — records of messages you send us through phone, email, or messaging apps.

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our website:

  • IP address, device type, browser, and operating system.
  • Pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.

3. Information sharing and disclosure

We share your personal information only as necessary to provide our services:

  • Delivery partners — local couriers in Armenia and Georgia receive the recipient's information to complete delivery.
  • Customs authorities — in Canada and at the destination country, as required by law for cross-border shipments.
  • Payment processors — to authorize and settle transactions.
  • Service providers — hosting, email, analytics, and customer support tools that act on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal obligations — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. International transfers

Because our service is cross-border, recipient and shipment information is transmitted to Armenia and Georgia. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from Canadian law. By using our service, you consent to this transfer for the purpose of completing your shipment.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to deliver our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Shipment records are typically retained for seven (7) years to meet Canadian tax, customs, and corporate record-keeping requirements. Marketing subscription information is retained until you opt out.

Under PIPEDA and applicable laws, you may request to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications or non-essential processing at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Cookies and tracking
